My name is Sam
I specialise in supporting women managing busy lives to transform overwhelm and burnout into a state of abundant well-being and resilience. Through my coaching approach, we replace anxiety, overwhelm and depression with mental fitness and empowerment.
With a background in Corporate HR, Recruitment and Learning I know only too well of the demands placed in today's workplace; add to this the challenges of life outside of work...family, caring, gym, shopping, socialising and much more. We end up running on adrenaline and think that the twice a year spa break is enough me-time and self-care to get us through the rest of the year! Believe me, it’s not! I’ve tried it. There’s a quote I like which goes ‘’If you don’t make time for wellness you will be forced to make time for illness’’.
Back in 2006, my venture into Holistic Therapy started with the suggestion to give Reflexology a try. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer and took a bold step of surrounding myself with a team of people to support me. This included my medical team, my holistic therapist, my naturopath, family and friends. I chose reflexology and eventually reiki to complement the conventional treatments with a holistic approach to help me heal, switch off and escape from the gruelling treatments and their side-effects.
Immersed in my regular sessions, every hour in the tranquil therapy room became an invaluable sanctuary. Soaking in well-being advice, granting myself the time to heal, and weaving self-care into my busy life proved to be priceless experiences. Not only did I reap the benefits, but I also cultivated a deep passion for understanding the intricacies of various therapies. This marked the definitive moment when my enthusiasm for holistic well-being truly blossomed!
